For All Grade Levels:

Advisement Week at Aliso Niguel High School - Monday December 7th
through Friday December 11th

Students will be getting registration forms to choose their second
semester classes on Monday. Parents should look for these forms and
discuss the choices their child is making for the second semester.
Parents are required to sign their child's registration forms. These
forms will be collected by the student's English teacher on Monday, Dec.
14th. Last day to turn in registration forms to the guidance office
will by Friday, Dec. 18th (the last day before break.) Any registration
forms not turned in before break will be considered late which may put
student's elective choices in jeopardy. Remember, students should
choose wisely and put down three elective choices. We will do our best
to give them their first choice, but without other options the academic
advisors are forced to pick an open elective for students. Once
electives are chosen students will not be allowed to change electives.

2nd Progress Reporting Period Ends - December 4th

Teachers will be finalizing grades for the end of the progress reporting
period. Remind students that many teachers use this as a cutoff to
allow any make-up work. Actual progress reports will be mailed home and
should be received the week of Dec. 14th.

PSAT Scores Back Night - Jan. 5th

Students who took the PSAT will have the opportunity to get their scores
and hear an explanation of their results from Mr. John Boomer, who
teaches our SAT prep class. This will take place at 6:00 pm in our
theater. Please arrive a few minutes early as there may be a short wait
to receive your scores. Students and parents are welcome. If you
cannot make this night you may pick up your scores from your academic
advisor in the guidance office anytime after Jan. 5th.
