Be a part of The Reading Team! * Learn how you can help children who need extra reading support * Help children practice their reading skills and build self esteem * Be a positive role model * Just one hour per week or every other week will make a difference! Join us for a GRIP Volunteer Program information meeting and learn more ~ Thursday, December 3rd 11am San Juan Capistrano Community Center 25925 Camino del Avion, San Juan Capistrano Light Lunch and Refreshments will be served To RSVP, please email: sjcgrip@gmail.com *GRIP is a gang reduction and intervention program established in 2008 following the Orange County Superior Court's gang injunction. The City of San Juan Capistrano, Orange County District Attorney's Office, Orange County Sheriff's Department, Orange County Probation Department, Capistrano Unified School District, Boys and Girls Clubs, and others, have joined together to prevent criminal gang activity in our communities, keeping our children safe and supporting their future! We have established a volunteer program and are seeking community members who want to get involved and make a difference in a child's life. The Reading Team is a great opportunity to help build a child's self esteem and prevent them from getting involved in criminal gang activity. We need your help!
